Now is the time to bring out your inner glam.
This look is classy, yet sultry. Its simple, but also glamorous. It is the best of both worlds. The deep red lips and light eyes give this face a Hollywood, red carpet feel, and its definitely for a special occasion that you would want to celebrate. This glam makeup look is full on coverage, so it is sure to last a night of dancing, picture taking, or simply being flawless. In this tutorial, I go through my routine from start to finish, showing you how to cover stubborn redness, acne scars, uneven skin tone, the works! This is definitely one of those before and after’s that’ll pleasantly surprise you.
The eyes give a beautiful ombre effect that may seem difficult but could easily be achieved with some blending skills. That along with the winged eyeliner is what helps accentuate the shape of the eyes and gives them a pretty almond shape. Not much was applied to the bottom lash line, as I wanted to stray away from darkening up the eyes. Besides, there was no need for that. The lipstick was the star of the show.
The Star of The Show
For this glam makeup I used the Revlon liquid lipstick line (yes drugstore, yes affordable), and I must say, I am happily surprised. The formula is more like a cream rather than a liquid, but the pigmentation is to die for. I’m telling you from experience, this lip color has a better color payoff and wear than some of the high end liquid lipsticks that are on the market, for half the price. You just can’t beat that. Now I’m just waiting for Revlon to be a little more creative with their color options, because right now the selection is limited. However in this look I am wearing Infatuation, and it definitely lives up to its name.
You have to see it to believe it.
